Purchasing an Individual Licence

Purchasing an Individual Licence

If you are not part of a hospital's K2 Perinatal Training Programme (PTP) group but would still like to continue your training, you can purchase an individual licence.

An individual licence for PTP can be purchased at our website: training.k2ms.com.au

1. Your K2 PTP Account

You can purchase the PTP in two ways. First, if you have used PTP before you will already have an account, login ID and password. It is possible to purchase an individual licence for your existing account therefore keeping all of your progress. Alternatively, you can create a new account under the Buy Now tab on the home page.

1.1 Existing Accounts

If you have an existing K2 PTP account, you can log in and go straight to section 2. Training Selection below.

1.2 New Accounts

If you do not have an existing account, then a new account can be created by clicking on the Buy Now tab. Once a new account has been created, log in to that account. You should see the following three questions asking you to select which guidelines you would like to use:
First, you will need to choose between NICE or RANZCOG guidelines:

Next, you will need to specify whether you adhere to NICE or ANZ guidelines in clinical practice:

Finally, you will need to select between NICE 2007 and NICE 2014:

2. Training Selection

After completing section 1 above, you should see the following:

You will need to click on one of the blue 'here' links that correspond to the training you would like to purchase. You will need to choose from: Fetal Monitoring training, Maternity Crisis Management, or the complete training programme.

NOTE: If you click to join a hospital you will not be able to access your individual licence as a hospital licence takes precedence over individual licences. A hospital K2 administrator will need to accept your transfer request and activate you into the group before you can access your training. As soon as you request to join a group you will no longer be using your individual licence, regardless of whether an administrator has activated you into the group or not.

3. Payment

Upon making your selection in section 2 above, you will be taken to a payment processing page, where you can pay via Paypal or card.

The cost of the programme is in Great British Pound (GBP):
1. Fetal Monitoring Chapters = 100 GBP
2. Fetal Monitoring Chapters + Maternity Crisis Management Chapters = 170 GBP
Fetal Monitoring Chapters: Fetal Physiology, Antenatal CTG, Intrapartum Cardiotocography, Cord Blood Gas, Errors and Limitations in Fetal Monitoring, Intermittent Auscultation and Training & Assessment Simulator
Maternity Crisis Management Chapters: Antepartum Haemorrhage,Maternal Collapse, Pre-Eclampsia, Breech,Cord Presentation and Prolapse, Shoulder Dystocia, Uterine Rupture and Postpartum Haemorrhage.
