Impact statement
Impact statement for customers moving from 2.050.117.001 to 2.050.127.001
The MEWS chart is now event-based by default. Customers will need to be made aware of this change prior to go-live. Additionally a compatible K2MS Athena software version will need to be supplied that supports event-based MEWS. (Minimum of K2MS Athena v4.1.50208.2 or above).

This means the Guardian Configuration Tool should be used to confirm that INFANT is turned off prior to deploying this build of K2MS Guardian to a site that does not require INFANT (as the INFANT settings and parameters could still be present in the database from the INFANT-study).

New Features
A new Local flag option under the Guardian > System registry node has been created. This new option of '2' is a new configuration that combines pre-existing modes 0 and 1. A wiki article has been created explaining the various configurations and their test results
A fingerprint template enrolled on a Portal will update local storage with the enrolment rather than relying on the sending and receiving of this template via the network. This change means a fingerprint registered on a Portal will be usable immediately in all configuration scenarios
Bug fixes
Local flag modes of '0' and '1' have had issues corrected that affected the way these modes worked under different network configurations. See this wiki article for expected results
Where two Portals are inadvertently set to the same Room Id there will no longer be the flickering seen between patients. Central Station will register the first Portal that comes online with this Room Id, and prevent the display of the second room

Other minor fixes and enhancements
Version 2.050.089.001
New features
Common User Interface (CUI) - The HSCIC CUI programme has developed a portfolio of standards and guidance relating to the design of user interfaces for healthcare computing systems. The core objectives include: increasing patient safety, the clinical take-up of health IT and reducing training costs. With this release of software the patient header bars within the application have now been modified to fit with the CUI standards. Changes in this release include:
Reformat of patient name in header bar of main UI and main wizard UI (note some bespoke software-driven wizards do not yet have the CUI standard implemented - these will be delivered with Guardian version 3.0)
Maternal Date of Birth and NHS Number modified to fit the CUI standard
For baby-centric wizards, Date of Birth now appears in the header with the duration of time the infant has been alive for shown in brackets. Baby NHS Number is also displayed.
The CUI standard requires a full width patient header bar, which has led to the following changes in the main Guardian UI
Exit and Brightness buttons relocated to the main config (spanner) screen
Removal of minimise button from the application
Notes Filter appears on Notes tab when viewing patient on Central Station
