Guardian - BOS Integration Testing
In this article, you will find the required information for testing the Guardian-BOS Integration.
To ensure that the integration between the two systems works as expected and meets the customers requirements it is very important to create a detailed test plan. This shouldn't just apply to the initial implementation during a project, but also during the planning of any changes to the current clinical model. Please see attached a spreadsheet that can be used to document information recorded against each UR.
In general the testing workflow should be the following:
Antenatal Testing
- Customer specifies URs in BOS
- Customer creates pregnancies within BOS on these URs and enters a set of specified antenatal information
- Customer documents the antenatal information that has been collected against each UR
- K2MS admits the URs to Guardian and checks the antenatal information against the information documented in BOS
- K2MS provide feedback on all findings to the Customer and resolves information appropraitely with customer.
- Repeat step four and five until all issues have been resolved
Output Testing
- Customer documents set of Intrapartum/Delivery information on each UR
- Customer records the information collected against each UR
- Customer triggers Guardian to send through the data to BOS
- Customer checks information in BOS against the information documented in K2
- Customer sends feedback to K2MS
- K2MS works with Customer to resolve any issues found
- K2MS and Customer work through steps three to six until all issues are resolved
NOTE: Some of these items assigned against the customer can be assisted by K2 Support but this really depends on availability of resources. Ultimately, the customer should sign off on this testing so the more this is driven by them the better.
